Woohoo. I’m so happy. Been stuck in HD at home and 4k for PC monitors. Now looks like it’s finally time to switch. 8k and more importantly high color depth with HDR.
Of course 55 inch 8K is pretty useless for home theater viewing. You would need to be 0.8 the diagonal away to see the difference which is 3-4 feet! But it’s perfect for a computer monitor. 🙂
