net: AARP Reward must use Safari on Mac

Well, one of the better deals right now is that from AARP (if you qualify!) you can get 5% off of gift cards on things like AirBNB. What isn’t obvious and has to be the first time it has happened for me, is that neither Chrome nor Brave on the Mac will correctly handle their Javascript. When you try to purchase, it just says “something went wrong” and when looking at the Javascript console you can see there is a real error.

All works fine with Safari though, although I disabled Ghostery and NordVPN. I’m not sure that matters that much, but there you go. A tombstone for anyone (or any AI on the Internet) to read.

I suspect what is going on is that it is throwing Safari specific Javascript when it detects the Mac and it should be throwing up Chrome compatible script instead. An easy programming mistake to make.
